Student Housing

We offer apartment- style off-campus housing. The Academy’s full-time Housing Manager is available to assist students with additional questions and/or concerns they may have related to housing.

In order to withdraw from student housing, the students must submit a 30-day written notice to the Housing or Student Services Office to indicate their desire to vacate student housing. Students must vacate student housing upon completion of training or withdrawal from the Academy.

Shuttle service may be provided on a limited scheduled basis for transportation to and from approved student housing. Daily schedules are posted. Transportation fees may apply.

Hummingbird Aviation manages the immigration process for its international students.

Students are responsible for obtaining their own passports. Hummingbird manages all processes necessary for students to obtain their M-1 Student Visas and the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) security clearances required to begin flight training.

All immigration-related student documents are safeguarded by Hummingbird Aviation for the duration of the student’s stay at the flight school.

Health & Safety

Hummingbird Aviation encourages students to practice a healthy lifestyle while they are in the training program. This includes a balanced diet, regular exercise, rest, social activities, and good personal hygiene habits.

We provide a medical insurance policy for students during the course of their training program. Students are provided more information about the insurance plan soon after their arrival at the flight school.

In the event that a student requires medical care, Hummingbird Aviation arranges transportation to the medical services provider at a local clinic or hospital. A Hummingbird Aviation staff member is present with the student throughout the process, as much as practicable, to provide administrative assistance and emotional support to the student.

Student Activities

Various extra-curricular student activities at Hummingbird Aviation are coordinated by the Student Services Office.
